To get to the point of this post—Does everyone remember that post that Oriae made mentioning the bonus gear some of us got?

Well, I got some bonus gear myself, and I'll confirm that it wasn't CCCorp! Or anyone in this game...or "world". In fact I was told that it was cursed before being warned to stop using it or otherwise I'd be harmed.

Sounds kind of crazy doesn't it?

And normally I'd think that it would just be something pre-programmed.
An in-game event that's been coded to play out a certain way, but they gave me a reason to believe them.

The mecha grunty that was clearing the skies said that there was a Flick Reaper using a twin blade running around that attacked it. I wonder if that has anything to do with it.
