I don't know anything about outside the game, but the last time I spoke with Mithrun-san was almost a week ago, yes. He didn't seem to be acting out of the ordinary other than that buggy dungeon you mentioned. He did tell me about that, but we presumed his damage would heal when he logged off.

What did he say about the buggy dungeon? When I went there, aside from the monsters, i didn't see anything out of the ordinary except his armor pieces and blood

Let's see. He did mention the monster types being odd, and that he received the keywords from an anonymous DM. I think it was likely that glitched user who has been DMing other strange messages? He seemed to think he was being targeted due to his various bugtesting and dungeon investigations.

Didn't the admins say that they were investigating those? Seems like a prime time for them to get around to that.

and i remembered that up in the root town, there was another voice talking about a gruesome and bloody death to come. If it's connected...

I seem to be somewhat of an outlier in this, but although I could certainly hear the voices that were whispering on the winds, I admit I have been ignoring them fairly successfully. So if there was another voice, I didn't quite catch that.

Soaked? Not that I can recall noticing... Maybe a bit sweaty from combat?

Hmm. Bruising, though, maybe. If there was bruising as prominent as all those cuts and scratches, I probably didn't pick it out on its own, but there might have been amongst everything else. I mostly noticed all the blood... his neck was bleeding quite badly, I think?

so if he wasn't soaked, then either he dried off...or he was able to log out before he ran into you.

I don't think the winds were necessarily targeted back then. I just think that if our clever little friend has been thinking to escalate whatever fun they had planned for us, they knew then that they wanted to do it.

It does seem that they sent him those keywords specifically, though, so perhaps that's what they decided on doing in the moment. Those with a taste for trouble don't always go in with an exact plan laid out.
