un: tabibito | Dead World of Indieglut Lugh Unlocked!

This notice is a little overdue, my apologies ww

@ fandaniel, @ Oriade, @ tylorific, and I (@ tabibito, hello!) were sent these beautiful keywords from a very suspicious and generous nonnie.

Δ Hidden Forbidden Dead Wood

Unfortunately, our screenshots would not save, but please look forward to it when you visit.

Here are the results of our exploration:

1) The stalactites and stalagmites decorating its waters were not wet. They disappeared into data once they touched the ground.

2) When we were there it was pitch black underwater, though that was not the case for anyone looking above water. Shining a light source did not help. There was also this strange pull. Is there something sleeping down there, awaiting company? They must be lonely if the pull was so insistent.

3) The beautiful tree! Touching the tree and picking the leaves caused Master to hear a loud tone ringing in his head. It seemed to give him quite the headache. The leaves, when plucked, also disappeared into data.

4) The area's music had lyrics, but I could not understand them. I was told it got louder the closer you are to the tree. I could not save a clip of the music, which is a shame as I'd like to know what the voices are singing. The beginning of the song seems to say something like, "Ah Fuu Wa Si."

I doubt any of the strangeness we found will still be there. Whoever (or whatever!) leaves us these little clues is quick to vanish into the digital aether. But I do hope they send us another message. I'll be waiting.

If you have any updates from this area, please comment down below.

It's a date, as they say.

Have you been to the beach or the hotspring yet? It seems that we are being given quite a lot of watery places to relax lately, huh? Maybe because it's so hot outside.

Oh, are we doing skins? I have yet to use the beach skin I got from the carnival, but I think a theme would be cute. Would you like to do that?

I haven't been to the beach yet. I can't say I was ever strongly a beach person... I grew up in the mountains.

As for the heat, it seems our dear admins insisted it was not intended. I wonder what else it could be caused by?
[No he doesn't.]

The vibe of my skin, huh? I think I would say it has "mature" vibes. Yes, that's the word for it.

[Just what kind of suit could he have... :)]

That was one of my favorite pastimes before I moved to the city. There's nowhere more peaceful than an old shrine at the top of a hill. You can truly feel the spirit of nature all around you.

[And the monsters, but don't worry, that's not canon here...!]

Sure, if you want to call it that.

[Hani is in for a surprise.]

Haha, if they do, it sort of feels as thought they might have abandoned us, huh?

Maybe that's just my particular perspective, though.

damn u lucky this ain't canon matoba or this tag would be 500 words LMFAO

Well, I don't disagree with you on that.

Do you hear the voices of gods, tabibito-san?

I think they might. Trees can be kami too, right?

Ahh, if only.

Do you think that'd be noisy, though? Maybe it would be better to have the peace and quiet.

Collecting whispers, huh. I suppose I collect a lot of things, whispers included.

But if I were to aim for the gods, I think I'd aim for something a little more potent than whispers. Is that greedy of me?

Power? Maybe that. It depends on what they have to offer. Power is important, but brute force isn't the only kind of power one can have, either.

Most people would call it an excess no matter how you define it exactly. But excess for one person can be bounty for others. Is it greed if you intend to use it for the benefit of others? Is it greed if you are sharing your spoils?

I have always liked how you think, tabibito-san.

Various paths to death, huh?

[Now this is something he could think about with some personal perspective.]

I think that would be a very interesting power indeed. Whether it's greedy or not would depend on what you do with that knowledge. Would you try to avoid death? For yourself? For someone else? Is one inherently greedier than the other? And what if that other person wishes for death?

I can only speak for myself. But I think that what truly separates mortals from gods is knowing that we are born, and that we die. And it's being able to feel that proof that you are alive, "suffering", which brings one peace in the knowledge that you will die.

That is why I play with my pain sensors on, you see. I am quite pleased that CC Corp incorporated that feature.

Oh, is that how we are supposing it works? So the 'path to death' is moreso the 'path of life', isn't it?

Although, I think that it is funny that you cannot imagine why anyone would like to avoid death. There is no greater motivator for some alive than to avoid death.

But I think you are right. Gods and humans are inextricably linked.

Give up one thing, gain another. But that's the fair way for anything to work, right? Nothing is free. It's only childish fairytale to think otherwise, even with "magic". In the game, we give up "SP" and we get "power". Isn't "SP" in the case of appealing to gods just "prayer"?

Then, you think that a person's death doesn't have much meaning beyond it being a conclusion to their life?
