un: tabibito | Dead World of Indieglut Lugh Unlocked!
This notice is a little overdue, my apologies ww
@ fandaniel, @ Oriade, @ tylorific, and I (@ tabibito, hello!) were sent these beautiful keywords from a very suspicious and generous nonnie.
Δ Hidden Forbidden Dead Wood
Unfortunately, our screenshots would not save, but please look forward to it when you visit.
Here are the results of our exploration:
1) The stalactites and stalagmites decorating its waters were not wet. They disappeared into data once they touched the ground.
2) When we were there it was pitch black underwater, though that was not the case for anyone looking above water. Shining a light source did not help. There was also this strange pull. Is there something sleeping down there, awaiting company? They must be lonely if the pull was so insistent.
3) The beautiful tree! Touching the tree and picking the leaves caused Master to hear a loud tone ringing in his head. It seemed to give him quite the headache. The leaves, when plucked, also disappeared into data.
4) The area's music had lyrics, but I could not understand them. I was told it got louder the closer you are to the tree. I could not save a clip of the music, which is a shame as I'd like to know what the voices are singing. The beginning of the song seems to say something like, "Ah Fuu Wa Si."
I doubt any of the strangeness we found will still be there. Whoever (or whatever!) leaves us these little clues is quick to vanish into the digital aether. But I do hope they send us another message. I'll be waiting.
If you have any updates from this area, please comment down below.

Also, I don't have any updates from that area.
[ But! It's only right to share information in turn, isn't it? Especially to his cousin, so... ]
But, what kind of loud tone was it? I discovered another place myself with Swallow and Vogel. It's over at Δ Hidden Forbidden Radiation.
And we experienced a headache-inducing ringing noise once we tried to proceed further, until we were forced to stop.

I was down there with Oriade-kun. I didn't sense another presence, but the pull also didn't get stronger. I'd like to test it again, however. Say hello to whatever is down there.
From the way Master described it, it sounded like that of a hanging bell. The ones you find at Buddhist temples and such.
When was that? Are you OK now?
no subject
Doing that is going to be dangerous. You can't very well defend yourself underwater, can you? It's hard to say whatever's down there is friendly...I'm leaning towards even thinking that it likely isn't.
It's probably the same sound, then, because I'd say the same of what we all happened to have experienced.
It happened on 8/22. As soon as we received the keywords, we went ahead and started the exploration.
I'm okay now, but anyone going there should also be aware that swimming in the water causes some sort of chilling effect that crosses over to real life.

I would just like to talk to them and understand.
no subject
And what are you looking to understand, exactly?
no subject
What they want and why they want it. And how long they've been here wanting it. A lot of things!
no subject
I just wish there were a safer way of verifying whatever it is they want to grab our attention for.

The conviction is admirable but you can understand why I'd still wonder, right?
Given how unpredictable things can be...

I did not notice any ill effects either when swimming in the water, or when touching the tree for a significant amount of time, so it seems that I can confirm that whatever effects you were experiencing are no longer an issue.
The music was quite lovely, however. I can't say I was paying much attention to the lyrics.
There remains a mysterious air to that place that I found quite peaceful. With such deep waters, you could just imagine yourself sinking all the way down, couldn't you?

I would still like to go all the way down. Have you tried? Are you planning to?
no subject
Would you like to go on a little expedition, tabibito-san?

I’d like to explore the other bodies of water, too. If there are any.

Have you been to the beach or the hotspring yet? It seems that we are being given quite a lot of watery places to relax lately, huh? Maybe because it's so hot outside.
no subject
Not yet, though I’d like to try surfing at the beach. Have you been?
Where do you think this heat is coming from? Is it truly a game mechanic or something else?
[ so many questions, and yet they still have more to ask. ]
no subject
I haven't been to the beach yet. I can't say I was ever strongly a beach person... I grew up in the mountains.
As for the heat, it seems our dear admins insisted it was not intended. I wonder what else it could be caused by? [No he doesn't.]

[ hani did the dunk tank so many times that they have a couple of choices. ]
The mountains are equally as lovely. I haven't been in a long time, though I don't think there is anything quite like walking up hundred of steps to visit those old mountain shrines. Sacred, lonely places, aren't they?

[Just what kind of suit could he have... :)]
That was one of my favorite pastimes before I moved to the city. There's nowhere more peaceful than an old shrine at the top of a hill. You can truly feel the spirit of nature all around you.
[And the monsters, but don't worry, that's not canon here...!]
no subject
[ that means they need to take lots of screenshots. ]
It feels like a world removed. Do you think gods and spirits still listen to us?
no subject
[Hani is in for a surprise.]
Haha, if they do, it sort of feels as thought they might have abandoned us, huh?
Maybe that's just my particular perspective, though.
