Hello all!

I am afraid I must admit to something terrible! I may have found an incredibly deadly debuff that simply did not fall off of me when I returned to the Root Town. It would seem it affects NPCs as well as players, but the NPCs simply would not die and reset themselves!

Oopsie.

Do you think this counts as a bug or a feature? Should I report it? I took it to a few more places in town to make certain of what I was seeing, of course! Could anyone confirm this is what they were seeing, too? (:

That's certainly one way to put it.

Random sampling, like it's a science experiment ...

I wonder how far this beta test will get. If many people cannot get past the beginning areas, bugs in the later sections of the game might easily go missed.

Kinda hard to progress when other players in the cooperative game try to take you down with them by exploiting bugs, yeah.

The incident in the other game I heard about lasted a while.

If trying to speak to the NPCs in Mac Anu ends up damaging us instead for a similar period of time, this will be quite the experience.

[ imagine trying to sell your trash drops and instead getting the plague. ]

All the noobs here won't even last a day.

They might even have to reset the whole beta. Talk about embarrassing.

A rollback in the first week will probably be better than one three months in, at least? Less time for anyone to have collected anything rare that they're attached to.

Guess we'll just have to find out if the admin are actually on the ball when it comes to running the game, too.

We've only been directed to the single one so far, right? Do you think that's the only one they have for this beta test?

If that's the case, they have way more problems than just some bugs.

[ there's no way that can be the only one, but where are the rest ... or maybe it's different groupings of people, and hien is just the one assigned to them? ]

I suppose we can only wait and see how this ends up working out, with some of the people invited.
