With all this noob talk, I just wanted to remind everyone that we're all new to this game. And that's amazing when you think about it! We're so lucky to be the ones here to experience it all. The important thing isn't who the best is, it's about how much fun we can have. That's the point of games, right?

So, let's all try to have fun together while we're here! Remember to eat and drink in real life too, everyone!

I'm actually kinda worried about some of you guys. Stress and taking things too seriously really isn't good for your health. You might get wrinkles in real life, no matter how gorgeous your avatar is.

Does the visual appearance of a person's avatar improve your own experience? This is the second time you've made a reference to the concept, counting your original post.

Well, of course! In game or out, nothing lifts my spirits quite like seeing a beautiful person.

In game it's even a choice! You can defy fate if you really want to, isn't that neat?

I guess you could. I don't pay attention to how others look, myself.

( He does remember he used to care mostly about appearances, though, so what Tylor says isn't completely Greek to him, even if he no longer relates. )

At the end of the day, I'm still interacting with a person, regardless of their appearance. Or a NPC in the shape of a person. It's a similar experience.

( Talking to a NPC or talking to a person... apparently. )

Oh, well a person isn't just their appearance either.
People have all kinds of talents and smarts beneath the surface. But it's impossible not to appreciate beauty when I see it.

I don't think so. Not yet, in any case. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a NPC like me, though.

I don't really know what most people think of me, but it also doesn't matter.

Also, I was going to make a remark as to how most people think of me, but I realized I stopped paying attention to that.

( A pause before he replies, as he seems to vibecheck himself. )

I don't feel like eating. It's fine.

( Spoilers: it's not, not feeling the desire to eat is the problem, )

[ But he can't help himself if mithrun1 shows up online when he does. ]

( A pause as he thinks. )

I don't think so.

really? You sure you don't want to get a snack? I'll wait, I really don't mind.

It's all right. You don't need to worry, if you are.

[ He is never early for things, but videos games are a whole different animal. So he's already here. Unfortunately he's also been easily distracted by the architecture nearby the gate. Crouched to the side, he's still pretty hard to miss. ]

( Mithrun is, unfortunately, late - very much so. By the time he gets to the location, he's wet (somehow) and he's covered in leaves (not the first time this has happened).

Upon spotting Tylor, he trots up to him, the sound of his footsteps normally silent - but made notable by the sound of water shlopping with every footstep. )

... Hello.

[ Tylor looks up when the shlopping hits his ears, meandering up from wet torso to his face; leaf to leaf. He stands with a friendly smile, leaning in to get a good look at his soon to be party member. His head tilts with a little laugh as his hand reaches out to try and pluck a stray wet leaf off. ]

Hello there! Did you decide to take a swim without me?

I got lost.

( As if that were self-explanatory. )

I ended up in the water. It feels like there should be paths in the water, but there aren't.

Were you looking at something?

[tylorific]

Oh, yeah. The architecture around here is really something else.

[ Casually picking at those leaves unless stopped, he flips a couple over to admire the detail there too until they get tossed carelessly away.

Stopping to thumb over one particularly vein-y leaf, he goes on. Bright with curiosity-- ]

Did you try breathing under water?
