Tylor here, if we haven't met yet!
With all this noob talk, I just wanted to remind everyone that we're all new to this game. And that's amazing when you think about it! We're so lucky to be the ones here to experience it all. The important thing isn't who the best is, it's about how much fun we can have. That's the point of games, right?
So, let's all try to have fun together while we're here! Remember to eat and drink in real life too, everyone!
(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧
I'm actually kinda worried about some of you guys. Stress and taking things too seriously really isn't good for your health. You might get wrinkles in real life, no matter how gorgeous your avatar is.

Here I have. Every location here has been placed here for a reason, so it's worth understanding the layout of the area.
I haven't found anything mechanically noteworthy this way, but I've found some private spots that are largely enclosed, that you can only get into by climbing or going through an alley network. They might be all right to sit in, if the main streets ever feel too busy.
( If he can even find those spots again... )
no subject
Really? Huh, I hadn't thought about it that way. All these places have been fun to look at, but is there really a reason for everything?
With that attitude and bravery, you'll know everything about this game in no time. Oh man, I sure am lucky partying with someone so pretty and smart. [ all smiles, no shame. ] We'll clear it in no time.
[ Leaning over again a fraction, hand pausing. ]
Do your lungs feel any better?
no subject
... Pretty?
( He coughs one final time, ish, and seems to let himself be for a sec, just to make sure another one's not coming. )
... I don't think they're burning anymore, no.
( He really should say thanks, but his head is screwed on a little sideways, so it doesn't occur to him to... rip )
no subject
[ The earnestness is unrestrained, even once his hand slides away now that the coughing has subsided. ]
That's a relief!
no subject
( He hasn't been called pretty since before The Accident (tm), so this gives him pause. )
I've been told I look creepy. My avatar looks like me, more or less.
( Weird eye and ... all the rest of him, in all. )
no subject
[ Tylor tilts his head at that undeterred. He really isn't the type to shy away from looking directly at Mithrun, odd eye and all. If there's hair or anything covering said eye, Tylor reaches up casually to lift it and look. ]
Hmm. Nope, not creepy at all. Actually, it's almost like you're always winking at me.
[ So, of course, he winks too. Assuming that hand wasn't stopped, it falls back again. ]
Do you think you're pretty?
no subject
It seems like it takes Mithrun more effort to get the damaged socket fully closed, though he does do it often enough.
He watches Tylor assess and conclude the same thing he'd concluded before, and return his inadvertent wink. He doesn't know what to think - or if he should be thinking about this at all. )
... No more than I think you're pretty. ( That sounds mean but it's not. meant to be, ) I used to be pretty vain. But now I just assess people based on their ability.
( And that sounds nicer than what it actually is - that he often only takes note of people for what they're capable of now, and not much else.
Not everyone, though. Some, he grants slightly longer assessments, though Mithrun hasn't recognized the pattern himself. )
I don't know what you're capable of yet. But talking to you is acceptable.
( More than he can say for some, that's for sure. )
no subject
You aren't vain now. I think that's what really matters. And talking to you is acceptable too. I'd even say it's fun.
[ He blinks, like he just remembered why they were here in the first place. ]
Say, did you have any words in mind?
no subject
Not really, not yet. I'm still figuring out what the most useful ones are. We can use random ones, if you don't, either.
no subject
...What an odd pair. What are you two up to?
no subject
Care to join us for --[ Tylor, all smiles, only just now decides on, not that he's tried it yet: ] Dawning Destiny's Paradise?
[ actually, he should probably make a party, everyone enjoy their invites. ]
no subject
( Strong Homie!
Mithrun accepts the invitation. )
Yael is skilled. He's a Twin Blade. Tylor is an Adept Rogue. But...
( Actually, looks at Tylor, )
... What are your classes?
( was he gonna go on an area exploration without knowing that much? yea )
no subject
[If this is happening, he's going to shoot Fai an invite to round out the party. May as well suffer just a little more.]
no subject
He pops out from right behind Yael. ]
Shadow Warlock!
1/2 fai jumpscared me
Tribal Grappler, [ He remembers that one because he talked about it with Kara, but he wings it on the rest since he doesn't feel like pulling anything up-- ] Lord something, and, uh, Reaper. Yep, that's all three. I've got weapons for all of them and everything.
[ He blinks over at Yael, looking innocent. ]
Well, you could've declined it. Oh! Or do you mean the words? Did you want to pick? I don't mind.

Four is better than two for Areas. We're missing a healer, but with a Lord Partizan and high DPS we should be all right.
no subject
[Says Yael, a guy with nothing in his inventory but whiskey.]
no subject
[ He waves at Justy and gives Mirhrun a nod before elbowing Yael in the side. ]
You better have some in your inventory too, if you’re gonna say that.
no subject
[ Without any other warning: in go the words, and the party follows. Onwards, toward Dawning Destiny's Paradise and the grassy meadow that sprawls out to greet their eyes. ]
Wow, what a pretty place to start.
[ He might come back here just to nap. ]
no subject
... The forest ahead must be our dungeon.
no subject
[Biting sardonics aside, Yael valiantly trudges forward and towards a pack of disco knives. His level one ass is on the line here, but he doesn't seem to care, going right in for the kill.................... or at least attempting to. He's doing single digit damage here. Help.]
no subject
Is only a stiff breeze for the monsters here. ]
Ah…
[ Allow Fai to shoot one of his higher level spells over at one of those Disco Knives to help put him out of his misery. ]
no subject
[ Tylor trails behind Yael at a leisurely pace. Because if he wants to run head first into a pack of enemies that are probably too high of a level for him, then he's not about to stop him from living his best life.
He doesn't even properly equip weapons he has to carry anymore, but once he's in range near Yael, he'll brandish smack a few to pull them off of their weakest link. ]

( Mithrun dives ahead of the pack, up with Yael and Tylor - and in the true manner of a MMORPG player who knows friendly fire isn't a thing, he yanks out his massive claymore and sweeps it broadly across all the mobs to hit them all - probably clipping through Yael and Tylor, for an extra heart attack - utilizing his Koranshuu (hover), which he quickly combos into a Death Bringer with a sharp twist of his claymore into the Skyfish with the chunkiest HP, then a normal attack, then he starts the motion for another multi-hit Koranshuu once it's off CD—
which is like, cool and all, if DPS meters existed his would probably be pretty high, but he's hoarding all the aggro and he's taking So Many hits right now his HP is Not lookin hot. Based on the faint grimace of his expression, he sure feels every hit, but he just seems intent to mamba-combo his way through this, like a true DPS brain. He'll heal when they're all dead and there's no more aggro, so it's fine, )
