Now don't take this the wrong way or nothing, I'm just trying to be frank here. Because it seems like a whole lot of you haven't played a game like this before. Is this a vocal minority situation or did they just pull names out of hats for this beta?

Because to be honest they aren't paying me enough as "User Moderator" or whatever they put on my paychecks to lead around an entire gaggle of ducklings just so they can idiot proof their game or whatever the logic is here. Again, no offense. I'm sure you're all brilliant at whatever it is you do with the rest of your time.

Anyway I guess I should aughta say that if you have any problems and you don't wanna go straight to the admin, there's me. But I don't know anything more about the game than you, I just maybe know how to play it better and also I can timeout people if they're acting up.

And why do you do that? Same rules apply here, they're trying to make it realistic. Besides all the y'know, magic and all that.

Why can't we fly instead? That would be more fun. It's not that far of a leap since we have magic.

Probably further up the skill tree that we all are at level one if I had to guess. Or flight would make exploration too easy so they deliberately didn't include it.

That makes sense. They want us to really experience what it's like to be an adventurer.

More like it saves them on rendering if they know for sure some areas of the map won't be accessible to players.

Oh, right. That takes a lot of work, doesn't it? Everything already looks so nice, I imagine they'd want to save time where they can.

Right. They also might've not finished all of it for the beta, that's pretty typical for some finishing touches to still be in the works in a Beta, though moreso in Alpha.

They also might want to see what the players give the most attention to so they can focus on fine tuning those and maybe cutting unused features.
