Let's see. He did mention the monster types being odd, and that he received the keywords from an anonymous DM. I think it was likely that glitched user who has been DMing other strange messages? He seemed to think he was being targeted due to his various bugtesting and dungeon investigations.

Yes, that's where we agreed to meet after he messaged me. He'd just done a glitchy dungeon and wanted to share his findings.
Since the glitch was unhealable damage, I am assuming that is what caused the PK state. But that doesn't explain why the devs are being so cagey about it (again).

He was quite injured already, and it seems as if he was taking heavy bleed damage? Potions were not doing anything to reverse it, but he didn't seem worried about it when I inquired about seeking other methods or a bug report.
He seemed convinced that it would simply reverse itself eventually when he logged out, or respawn when he "died", but clearly neither of those seem to have happened.
What about outside of the game, though? How could that cause him to have gone missing?

No they didn't. He was found on the bridge with his eyes open and his hands around his neck.
Nobody knows what happened. I texted him myself that morning and several times that day. He was supposed to be flying to the San Francisco area that morning. Hector confirmed with the airport that he never made it to his flight.
