un: Ganymede - Mithrun's case
...What does have everyone have now?
It's been more than two days now since what happened.
Whatever everyone has been finding out, we should put it together, or something like that. Even as new information comes in.
As for me, I took a look at the bloody trail of footprints, which I confirmed to be Mithrun's. He didn't seem to be in any much of a rush, like he wasn't paying much mind or attention to where he was going either.
The trail of blood was only a mess due to the amount of traffic, as it is, without adding to any more prints as NPCs don't leave footprints.
Anyone else have anything more?

Die.
Logically...you'd hope that you'd respawn uninjured as normal. Right?
no subject
Trying to 'reset' by dying sounds like it'd make it more difficult.

I don't spend a lot of time looking for bugs or looking at the limitations of the game, though. There may have been a difference in thought process.
Respawning would be extreme, I admit, so I guess I jumped a little to far ahead of myself.

They were adamant about not using that solution.
The person who had the error before said they couldn't feel their physical body, right? If he had those injuries for a while, it might have made moving around with them easier.
no subject
I'm not certain the injuries would have slowed him down regardless. But it's a possibility as well.
no subject
it was already hard for him to feel things normally to begin with

The player everyone keeps mentioning, the one who might have been with him at the casino. When I first met him, he was dropping cake from the party from his inventory to see how many item iterations would crash the server.
[She left him to and didn't narc on him until now, but it's all in the name of explaining more of where her theory's sitting.]
I could see the point in sharing with someone who was equally interested in seeing results rather than, say, someone who would try to stop him from acting.
no subject
I've never talked to him. I suppose it would make things too easy if he wanted to log in to explain his side of things...
That makes sense to me as well. He ran the dungeon and, whatever happened there, went to Lumina Cloth to share his results with another player. They had... some form of altercation [ or something ] and then Mithrun returned to the Chaos Gate to Mac Anu.

[She isn't going to type the bend over bit out loud right now.]
Why go to Mac Anu? Because player-versus-player isn't possible there?
no subject
he would want to test as much as possible while he felt weird, not respawn
no subject
One NPC said they saw a man wandering around confused, and there are those other injuries that can't be explained. Could he have been testing anything else that might have caused those?
no subject
he got lost often
he was a bit directionally challenged
i didnt think much about what that npc said bc that seemed like his usual self
no subject
If he's gotten turned around that badly before, I believe you.
no subject
like it was his backdoor passion or something
but he still managed to be like that somehow
at the same time i wouldnt deny the possibility of mithrun getting hit by a confusion potion
i feel like this is all very convoluted since its
"this guy who did a lot of outrageous things so we cant deny x happened"

When you've seen someone injured in an area dungeon, have you ever seen evidence that that fight stay behind?
[It could just be from Mithrun also not despawning, but it would be nice to have more evidence to support or disprove her theory.]
no subject
he was very determined to see it through
no matter what
but no ive never seen anything left behind
in dungeons nor root towns
i confirmed those myself
no subject
it was hard for him to make goals in the first place, so if he decided to do something he stayed serious about it
