Δ Haggard Traveler’s Reprieve

I was sent the keywords to a beach Area in my inbox after completing an Area run with @ vogel. There are no monsters. It seems to be purely recreational.

Has anyone else received Area keywords in their inbox?

@ zelkova, Thank you.

Edit: Δ Confused Fool’s Hideout

I was sent the keywords to a hot springs area in my inbox after completing another Area run with @ vogel. Like the above Area, there are no monsters, and its purpose appears to be recreational.

Its waters are calming.

Does there seem to be any particular trigger for a run activating a special area? A damage bonus or finding a secret area of the dungeon, perhaps?

The quest dungeon that was implemented not long ago had a bonus gold event within it, but that is the only other dungeon bonus I've yet to see.

I see. Judging by the current rate of areas that have been added, I wonder if each additional patch will give us a couple? It ought to flesh the game out nicely before launch. How exciting; perhaps I shall do some runs to test a number of factors as well.

[Uhhhhh he maybe might have in fact done a run to one of those special areas very recently but now that he hears this, he sure hopes that doesn't unlock any keywords, that'd be pretty cursed........!!]

Haha well in any case, I'll be quite happy to make use of the natural hot springs, since I can't enjoy the onsen normally!

You know, Mithrun-san, it is a shame that I have yet to go on a real dungeon run with you. Experiments notwithstanding. It'd be my pleasure.

Oh, just certain personal complications. But there's no need to worry about that in VR.
