Hello Everyone!
I hope everyone is having a good day today!! We totally beat that heatwave, haven't we?
This might be something very particular to me or a few people, but has anyone tried to stream those areas that aren't very dungeon like? I thought it would be great to show off to my fans, but it never comes across. :(
They keep saying my stream is broken when it isn't. I'm completely positive too!! I've checked all of my programs and the equipment!! The snail racing part of my stream works just fine, too, but everything is static or stops working for my stream for the Fragment.

The root towns are just fine.

Does it display all wrong for you in the game, too? Or is it just broken on your stream?

I can move around and nothing seemed to be too off.
It was just my stream that was broken.

Maybe they put some stream blocking code for DRM or anti-spoiler stuff. Sounds fucking weird for an MMO, but this game is cracked to begin with, anyway. Wouldn't surprise me.
no subject
But I suppose that would make sense, except when I've encountered this in other areas, things would be fine once I've cleared it.
It's just these special areas.

[ Not very helpful, but- ]
Maybe it's just a stupid bug again. Try just screensharing instead of streaming and see what happens.
no subject
But I had the same issues when screensharing.
The screen wouldn't connect or display correctly no matter what I'd do.

If that's the case then it wouldn't be anything that I spotted when I looked around the area.
no subject
Well, it can't hurt to keep checking if that ever changes, whenever a new one of those weird areas pops up.
no subject
Maybe instead of doing public live streams I'll try something different.
You stumbled upon one of those weird areas on your own, right? That one time.
If you find another one, let me know, won't you?
I want to see what happens.
Alternatively if you ever want to just spam the area exploration - I'd like to come.

But things have been getting strange around here, haven't they?
There's plenty of time left of the beta too.
no subject
Um, well...if you need anything, just message me. I can try to figure stuff out with you.
no subject
I've heard of introducing things as means of stress testing but this seems a bit odd.
But thank you so much Kara; I'll be sure do. The same goes for me as well.
I'd be happy to help you always.

The weird thing is that it shows up just fine whenever I screencap or record it, but that would explain the issue that I run into when I'm exploring a new place.
no subject
...Then again, given how advanced the technology is and the immersion we are getting in this game, I suppose it shouldn't be that surprising that even doing this much might be considered child's play to them?

If there's no difficulty with recording, then you could you not just upload the video you saved?
no subject
[ cue a copyright friendly youtube link to a video of UTA just vibing and waving at the "camera" in the cathedral. just as she has written before, it's completely fine with no obvious issues. ]
no subject
Then it isn't copyright.
[ ...Odd. ]

maybe its like. the game doesn't want you to show it off
no subject
But why wouldn't the game want to let itself be seen?
Things are still in beta so there's plenty that still needs to be tested before it can be released but generating public interest is important, too.
All while getting permission to, of course.

Some live events such as sports are now broadcast on a time-delay in order to cooperate with government restrictions on broadcasted content, in case of any "unforeseen occurrences".
[You know, like a nipple. Or a murder.]
Therefore, perhaps this is not about restricting spoiler content, but due to concerns about any unexpected occurrences within those areas and legal concerns it could cause for CC Corp. (Although strictly speaking, I imagine the fault would ultimately fall on you, the broadcaster. Seems a little silly, but such is corporate liability!)
That begs the question of just what sorts of unforeseen events they may be so concerned with, but, well. This game has its colorful share of bugs.
