Greetings, my fellow beta testers! It's been quite a busy first month here in Fragment, has it not?

Well, prepare for it to get a tiny bit busier! Because now that Lumina Cloth and its arenas are open, I am working towards our very first PVP tournament! Strictly above the board, I swear, all done in the arenas and everything.

Our dear Zelkova has even volunteered to create some unique prizes for all entrants as well as the finalists! Of course, I would also be absolutely beside myself with cheer if our other admin, ~@ hien~, would grace our little tournament as a guest announcer alongside yours truly~

That said, I will be traveling abroad for several days soon but will do my best to answer questions here on the forum when I can. But! I shall most certainly be back by the time the tournament begins.

We won't even see it coming if Zelkova decides that he's tired of us and begins putting our heads on spikes. I can almost picture it now...

I do suspect they get reports of going ons if nothing else as far as the corporation is involved, of course. Whether they entail everything the admins get up to, however? A mystery to me.

You're better off asking Hien but I don't think he's interested in telling.

Everyone has rules to follow for work, subjects they aren't allowed to share publicly. I would hardly be shocked if he had to sign his own kind of NDA before joining the project.

Naturally. That's the boring, likely explanation. But any manner of binding people through force always has its pros and cons.

He's only human, after all.

You have a way of making contracts sound insidious like that. "Binding people through force". Why would it be force? One presumes you choose to sign most work contracts.

From the perspective of the bound, perhaps it seems like a freedom of choice. But from the perspective of the employer, there's no downsides. If you can't control this person, you'll control the next one. If there is some reason that a particular individual is so important, you'll find some other way to control them.

People who are desperate will agree to all kinds of things.



Ah, are we still talking about Hien-kun? I won't pretend to know his situation, though. I speak generally, now.

That truly sounds as though the only places you have ever worked at have been run by the yakuza. I have yet to be employed in such a fashion, though I will admit to finding my current position incredibly dull.

Oh, in that case, you should head over to the casinos in Lumina Cloth. Now that the GP shops are available, you can spend your coin on all manner of games, including- yes!- pachinko!
