Have most people had a chance to run a dungeon or two yet? I would like to hear about the experiences that everyone has had so far. I am probably not the only one, either.

The keywords used seem to have a rather esoteric or oblique link to the resulting generated area, for one thing.

It'd surprise me if it were permanent, since it would place an avatar at a permanent disadvantage stat-wise (unless we gain the ability to equip armor invisibly).

My guess is that whoever came up with the effect finds it entertaining in some way. The developers can probably toggle off client-side armor view for our avatars on their end any time they want. I'm guessing the idea of obstructing someone's play of the game, or seeing shocked reactions in game and on the forums, is the intended function of this bane.

1. Was it possible to just not open the chest?
2. What about the skins from the opening of the game? Can you still equip them?

1. I believe so. It looked like any other chest, though, so you'd be forfeiting the chance to find other items or gear if you don't open any chests to avoid it. I think avoiding the keyword all together is more productive.
2. No. I've attempted, but the skin fails to equip. I currently remain nude.

It sounds like it. So not every dungeon keyword gives blessings. Some are just curses.

I guess it adds variety to the runs, so I don't dislike the concept inherently. Games provide challenge, and a chance of banes provides that.

Though, I think this one was just a private joke of a developer. Leaving armor equipped, but temporarily rendering its stats 0, would've accomplished the same thing as physically removing our armor.

I think the nudity was the point.

So they just like nudity? I think some kind of warning before they encouraged people to go down there would have been good.

Maybe they thought surprising people with it would be amusing. Though, there probably should be a warning for players under a certain age.

It was under the mod account, right? It's possible that it was hacked, but I think we would have heard about it if that was the case. Maybe a disgruntled employee, then.
