At any rate, I'm pretty new to games like this, so any help would be appreciated. I'm a Wood element Steam Gunner, if that makes any difference. Nice to meet you all.

It's really extravagant, isn't it?

In a good way. I can't believe how extensively they've studied the environment in order to create something so realistic and lifelike. I'm not usually one to marvel at advances in technology, but.. there's really no denying how incredible all of this is.

It makes me wonder how long they've been working on this game. This feels like decades of work, honestly. I suppose it would have been decades of research, at least.

Mm, exactly. But then, tech isn't exactly my strong point, I have no idea what sort of work would or wouldn't go into something like this.

I wonder what the plantlife is like..

I only know from what I've heard from others, and it's always gone in one ear and out the other!

Have you tried going to any areas yet?

Not yet, but I'm going soon. My friend was the one who wanted me to sign up for this game, and he's chomping at the bit to take me dungeon crawling.

You.. might know of him, actually, if you follow any streamers. He's gotten pretty popular.

I know a few people who are really into video games, so when I came across an email with an invitation to the beta, I thought I'd join. This is a pretty neat opportunity.
