Hi, I suppose I should introduce myself, right? I'm Tighnari. Though I suppose I should go by F0x here? I'm not quite sure how this works.

At any rate, I'm pretty new to games like this, so any help would be appreciated. I'm a Wood element Steam Gunner, if that makes any difference. Nice to meet you all.

The purpose of your online handle is mostly so that you can maintain some privacy offline outside of these games: you wouldn't want potential strangers to try to find you if they dislike you for some reason, even if it's as simple as "because I'm annoyed you got the best loot before I did" in games like these.

Not that you should distrust every single person you meet here, I mean! This is merely just some advice to keep in mind when interacting with people here, unless you are already friends offline, or are comfortable enough after some time with sharing an easier name for your online friends to call you by! I certainly know that my handle here can be a mouthful for some people, so I'm usually okay with people calling me by my name after we've gotten to know each other better!

Believe me, I understand. I suppose I just don't see the danger in revealing my name. Anyone who would really want to track me down in real life that badly could surely do it without needing to know my first name.

But I don't particularly want to go against popular culture, either. If the masses say I should use Fox, then Fox it is.

Like I said, it's mainly for personal security, so if you feel that you are comfortable with letting people you trust know your real name, then that's fine too! It's just best to be careful in this day and age so that you don't get doxxed or something by anyone you don't want knowing your personal information.

All that aside, however, it's nice to meet you, Fox-san! I'm a thunder-element Steam Gunner myself, so if you ever need any advice or help regarding our character class, I'd be happy to try to help!

Oh, I see! I don't think I've ever played with someone who wanted to look at the environment graphics in a game from that angle, but I hope it's to your liking! As far as I can tell so far, the plants here certainly look quite detailed to me...
