Now don't take this the wrong way or nothing, I'm just trying to be frank here. Because it seems like a whole lot of you haven't played a game like this before. Is this a vocal minority situation or did they just pull names out of hats for this beta?

Because to be honest they aren't paying me enough as "User Moderator" or whatever they put on my paychecks to lead around an entire gaggle of ducklings just so they can idiot proof their game or whatever the logic is here. Again, no offense. I'm sure you're all brilliant at whatever it is you do with the rest of your time.

Anyway I guess I should aughta say that if you have any problems and you don't wanna go straight to the admin, there's me. But I don't know anything more about the game than you, I just maybe know how to play it better and also I can timeout people if they're acting up.

I'm generally quite confused. I'm an author, so I rarely have time to indulge in something like this.

Perhaps you could offer a few tips for a beginner?

- Don't trust anyone who says they can get you free items or gold
- Double check your equipment before doing a dungeon
- Make sure you understand the most important stats for your particular class when deciding what equipment to use
- If the first enemy you fight in an area is difficult, it's only going to get worse, so it's better to quit before you wipe and lose all your items

Ah, thank you for the advice. Providing the fundamentals is a valuable service. Have you considered building a guide of sorts?

I do admire someone who recognizes the worth in their work--particularly writing. Providing services out of the kindness of one's heart can quickly backfire, don't you think?
