[ After the meeting and all has been said and done, Fandaniel, who had made no appearance whatsoever, pops onto the forum with this little message: ]
So how did your little meeting go?
Have you all decided to condemn an abandoned child for trying to warn in with the only tools they were allowed? Be not shy, friends. I have no doubt dear little Lily was one of the grand topics of the night~

[ Exactly. ]

That doesn't make any sense.
Why the hell are you blaming me for it, then? What the hell could I have done? I'm not CCCorp. I don't have some magic power just because Lily talks to me. We'd still be stuck.
Do you think I could stop people dying by somehow telling you words that nobody believed anyway? Would that have stopped your NDA that made you disappear? Would that have stopped you being pissed off at CCCorp and pissed off at Lily and pissed off at me?
Will fighting me make you feel better or get you more answers? Because I don't think it will. And if he's actually gone, what I know won't bring Yael back.

Where Fai might lock himself away, it's at this point Hector realizes he's lashing out at the people he cares about.
(Keep them away, so that he can't hurt them, right?)
He reads Barrett's message over and over and over again and as he cools, he admits he's right. He's totally right. The situation is complicated, and his desperation to lash out or point fingers is causing him to gloss over the nuance (would he have picked up on it normally?). It isn't fair to him, or anyone else who has a better grasp of the situation than he does.
He's shown too much, so he clams up again, and relents. ]
You're right.
I'm sorry, Barrett.

[Why can't you do anything right, Barrett
Sorry means nothing. Do you think sorry means anything, Barrett? Do you think saying sorry is going to bring her back?]
Other people can answer your questions. I'm done.
[Misteaks will not return to this post.]

I was shouldering you with too much. And I'm sorry.
[ He knows he won't read it, but. ]

(He is not coming back to read this, Hector is correct.)]
