Ha! He did! In a sense.

He warned me that this game was nothing more than a trap laid by CC Corp and all of you fell right into it.

Okay. And why didn't YOU warn any of us?

Pray tell, Hector, what happened to you when you openly went against CC Corp?

I was suspended.

Because I used public channels to call them out, specifically. I was expecting that would happen.

Why couldn't any of the people that knew about this guy use any of the thousands of non-game channels to talk about this?

Are you certain you were only suspended? You have no idea if anything has been done to your body, correct? After all, Uta was murdered.

[ And let's not pretend people aren't thinking CC Corp isn't connected to that is, of course, the implication. ]

Besides, for me, I simply did not want to. I reached out to several people in reality to warn them that death in the game could be real and yet! They continued to play!

What about you, Hector?

Had I told you, would you have quit? Or kept playing regardless, if only to protect those you would not be able to warn?

[ Okay, well. He doesn't know about that. There's no way to know what's happening with his body—he assumes his boss found him, he assumes his boss phoned his family and friends at home, and he likes to think his friends have at least come to look after him. But that's a lot of hopeful thinking that he's going to cling onto.

You know, I might have. I might've taken your word for it and told others. But I know I wasn't going to stop until I made sure everyone else was gone.

But you didn't do any of those things, so does it matter?
