There's precedent for vr stuff causing headaches and shit like that, at least. Could be whatever this particular headset did that put that first guy in the hospital that got cccorps attention, so when the same thing happened again they intercepted the guy to try and handle internally? It's all pretty equally crazy sounding if you ask me.
