Many happy returns. It's actually been a while since I had a party, so I understand the appeal.

Wouldn't you rather celebrate with people close to you, though?

I usually would, but work is keeping me far from family and friends this year. I've got off though, so thought it could be interesting to throw a party in the game, you know what I mean?

I see. It's difficult to be away from everything that's familiar to you. Celebrating surrounded by strangers might just make me feel lonelier, but I know not everyone feels that way.

It's okay. Sometimes I can make the trip back home, but it just didn't work out this year. Sometimes I can make it out to the city, but ditto there. It's cheaper and easier to have a party online lol. For the novelty.

I've been here for years now, actually. My coworkers are good to me, so it isn't as bad as it could be. Appreciate the kind words though.
