I would like to share my friend with everyone today.

This is Chuchu!
In the real world, he is my best friend. ╰(✿´⌣`✿)╯♡
But I have asked, and he is not allowed to join us in the game.
I understand - he didn't enter the lottery, and he is also not eligible to do so.
And it would cost a lot of money to make a tiny headset for him as well.
But after I asked, the person who answered me made a suggestion that I have since taken them up on.

This is Nyanami. She is also my friend, but she lives here in the game. (๑✪ᆺ✪๑)
I found her in an alley in Mac Anu, and asked the people nearby, but none of them claimed her as theirs, so she'll be my friend while I'm playing.
I don't think she can do any spells or fight monsters, but I like having a small friend with me when I go places.

Do any of you have any friends like Chuchu or Nyanami? Can I see them please?

[...This is the weirdest instance of someone asking for cute pet pics, but at least it seems harmless?]

Oh wow, I didn't know that we could adopt or befriend any pets in the game... I'll have to keep an eye out if I find any animals that look like they could use some attention.

In the meantime, your friend ChuChu is very cute! I think you're the first person I've ever spoken to that has a pet monkey IRL, where as I usually just hear about dogs, cats, fish, and maybe the occasional bird...

Oh, but if you'd like to see my friend, here she is! I call her Bebe.

I just acquired her recently, so I'm still getting used to taking care of her. Apparently it's rare to find a female orange cat, but I somehow came across this one while walking home. She's very sweet, but has a bad habit of trying to steal any cheese I have during dinner.

... Actually, there's also another cat, but I'm not sure if I should call it mine? It's a stray that keeps somehow finding ways to get in and out of the apartment complex and thus sort of just comes and goes, but I've ended up naming him Kyubey as opposed to nothing at all.

That cat ... looks remarkably like the one that used to frequent my neighborhood a few years ago, and from the sounds of things behaves remarkably like it as well.

If it is the same cat, I am surprised to see that it is still around, and ... continuing to be the way it is.

[ looking to be in decent health, albeit as scruffy as it's ever been. ]

Hang on, let me see if I have any more photos to share.

[After a minute or two, another photo of the same cat goes up, with a more close up view where it's face can be seen... except that now it's eyes are red due to the angle of it's head when the photo was taken and the flash of the camera went off. (Think something like this)]

Sorry, I don't think I have any better photos for this guy. He tends not to stay still long enough for me to get a picture for some reason.

If Nyanami were a cat in our world I think she would like Bebe too. ♥( ˆ⌣ˆ)
But that other one...he must cause a lot of trouble if he's running around without a home.

He seems to behave while in my apartment for the most part, but does not take kindly to any attempts I've made to try to let him stay permanently, as he finds a way to escape back out and disappear to wherever it is he goes when he doesn't want to be here anymore.

I've seen him poking around the complex's dumpsters once or twice, and chewing on plants outside the main office, but so far no one has issued any complaints about him yet, I think.

Oh, I know which movie that is you're talking about! It's been ages since I last saw it, but I remember that it was very cute.

If it makes Kyubey happy to live like that, then I suppose there's no harm in letting him roam... just as long as he doesn't get into too much trouble or gets hurt out there somewhere, I hope.
