With all this noob talk, I just wanted to remind everyone that we're all new to this game. And that's amazing when you think about it! We're so lucky to be the ones here to experience it all. The important thing isn't who the best is, it's about how much fun we can have. That's the point of games, right?

So, let's all try to have fun together while we're here! Remember to eat and drink in real life too, everyone!

I'm actually kinda worried about some of you guys. Stress and taking things too seriously really isn't good for your health. You might get wrinkles in real life, no matter how gorgeous your avatar is.

But I haven't exactly sung in a game before. Maybe one day I can.
Even if there was a bard, I'm not sure if I would have gone with that.

I wouldn't say that, but more that I like to try new and different things whenever I can.

( Mithrun is, unfortunately, late - very much so. By the time he gets to the location, he's wet (somehow) and he's covered in leaves (not the first time this has happened).

Upon spotting Tylor, he trots up to him, the sound of his footsteps normally silent - but made notable by the sound of water shlopping with every footstep. )

... Hello.

[ Tylor looks up when the shlopping hits his ears, meandering up from wet torso to his face; leaf to leaf. He stands with a friendly smile, leaning in to get a good look at his soon to be party member. His head tilts with a little laugh as his hand reaches out to try and pluck a stray wet leaf off. ]

Hello there! Did you decide to take a swim without me?

That's a great way to learn new things!

Is that why you picked the class you did?

I got lost.

( As if that were self-explanatory. )

I ended up in the water. It feels like there should be paths in the water, but there aren't.

Were you looking at something?

[tylorific]

Well, you might not think so. But even ugly old guys are cute to someone.

Even in a skirt, you might be handsome. Should I call you that instead?

[tylorific]

Oh, yeah. The architecture around here is really something else.

[ Casually picking at those leaves unless stopped, he flips a couple over to admire the detail there too until they get tossed carelessly away.

Stopping to thumb over one particularly vein-y leaf, he goes on. Bright with curiosity-- ]

Did you try breathing under water?

Wow, Gani-kun sure is smart, huh?
I thought you made a cute avocado anyway! But it wasn't very good armor, so I'm glad you'll be more protected next time.

It was !! If it happens again sometime, let's ride one another!

[tablescraps]

( Mithrun doesn't seem to mind. He lets Justy go at it as long as he likes. )

I did. You begin to drown, as you would in reality. And you need to come up for air eventually. I wouldn't recommend it. It's somewhat painful to get water in your lungs, and get it back out.

[tylorific]

[ And so Tylor continues the shedding of leaves until he gets bored of it less than halfway through. At least the top half is mostly leaf free now. The last one he plucks, he twirls it between two fingers.

He frowns as that answer goes on though. ]

Boy, that sounds awful. Do your lungs still hurt?

[tablescraps]

( A pause as he seems to really have to think about it. )

... I think my lungs are still burning, yes. But it won't interfere with an Exploration run.

[tylorific]

That's no good. Mind if I listen?

[ Tylor asks casually, pointing with the leaf at the damp(?) chest in front of him. ]

I wonder if you can hear it like real life?

[tablescraps]

( It's definitely damp, but Mithrun just seems, at worst, "...?" )

... The sound of water?

( Hmm... He supposes it would be worthwhile to investigate. He can't exactly check, himself. )

All right, if you want.

[tylorific]

[ Tylor nods, still holding the leaf to mithrun1's chest. All it takes is that agreement before he slouches down, more than he already was, to press his ear to it. He breathes a little laugh at the feel of it, but doesnt shy away from the pressure. ]

Okay, now take a real deep breath.

[tablescraps]

( Mithrun does as he's suggested, his inhale gentle and slow. If Tylor's hearing is good enough, he can probably hear something in there - but nothing alarmingly life-threatening; just something that's going to be mildly annoying until he coughs it all out.

He gazes down at Tylor as he breathes in slow, recognizing the situation as strange. Pressed up against his chest, though it's damp, and closer than anyone's been to him before, other than to take care of him.

Should Tylor tell him to exhale, he'll do that, as well - and look at him expectantly for his conclusion, should he pull away. But Mithrun won't rush him either, nor question it if he seems to remain there. He studies him quietly, wondering if Tylor's gotten what he's looking for. Maybe he should have removed his shirt... )

[ Tylor keeps the pressure up, with only a fraction of his weight against him. He remains quiet as he listens for the tell tale sound of fine crackles, holding his own breath as Mithrun inhales.

If Tylor considers this position strange, there is no sign of it. His body is relaxed into the slouch, knees only bent slightly. And the hand clutching the last leaf doesn't stop spinning it idly. ]

Annnd out.

[ He says eventually. Only a beat after he feels, and hears, the other's digital lungs expand as far as they can. And then he'll linger a moment after the air is released again, humming to himself before he leans back and away again. Rubbing at his now damp ear with one eye closed, Tylor's laugh is softer at the weird feeling. The amusement makes it into his assessment. ]

You really can hear it! [ A blink. ] Oh. Hey, do you know how to swim?

[dapples]

[ his typing is all F'd up because he's embarrassed and frantic!!! ]

I''m not gona be wearing a skirt any time soon ! ! !!!
