With all this noob talk, I just wanted to remind everyone that we're all new to this game. And that's amazing when you think about it! We're so lucky to be the ones here to experience it all. The important thing isn't who the best is, it's about how much fun we can have. That's the point of games, right?

So, let's all try to have fun together while we're here! Remember to eat and drink in real life too, everyone!

something complicated wells up in them, a new unnamed emotion. they had wanted to know about his vacation - he'd been so excited and their conversation that day had been so lovely and bright. but one day, the replies stopped coming.

where did he go, hani wonders, fiddling with their phone in both hands. was it luck that brought him back? fate, like he said?

and if he should disappear again, how would they feel? it's a lot, even for them, to process, so they gently, patiently save this mystery for another time. and the text - that's for another day. ]

I do. [ and more emphatically because that complicated feeling is still there moving their fingers. ] I want to do all of it with you.

[ Tylor is clueless to the trip that hani takes on the other end of their forum posts.

His number may be the same, but the phone he has in his hand isn't the same one he'd had back then. He doesn't have a physical reminder of those memories. And even if he did, only the bright and lovely ones stick around to brighten the halls of years past. ]

Then it's a good thing there's nothing stopping us, right? We can do anything we want.

And run dungeons with it as our background music.

[ He waits a few seconds after the last one. Hani can't see it but it's not hard to imagine him smiling at some of these. ]

[ and hani gets a choice? hrmm. they hold the phone up to their face, worrying their lips between their teeth. a rare self-soothing gesture.

First, I want to see you, but only if I can ask you how your vacation went - they tap the backspace button until everything but the first two words are gone. this bit of tact - or nerves - is also new to them. it was so easy to send the list before, why is it so hard to send this one sentence? not yet, they think. decisively. they nod to themselves. ]

I want to make the playlist because that will shape the rest of our adventures.

[ hani has listened to a little bit of everything, often picking up songs through airport cafes and taxi radios. it’s harder to search up lyrics for the songs they don’t understand, but they’ve manage somehow or other. ]

I do know some. I don’t always understand the sentiments behind the songs, but I like them. These are a good start.

[ this… this feels better than before. this is familiar, how hani usually is. with a little smile, they start adding each song to a playlist. ]

I like that with or without dreams, we are all capable of living. And that in the end, everyone has the potential to dream. Something like that? ww

Sure! Love feels different for everyone though.

Crazy in love is a lot like being madly in love! You can't help but think about them all of the time, even when you know you shouldn't be. Logic, rules, it all goes out the window. It changes you while it lasts and you almost don't even feel like yourself anymore. Even being with them can't snuff out the fire burning deep in your heart. And as weird as it feels, you also never want it to end. So Beyoncé is doing things she wouldn't normally do, all because she's in love with someone. And she doesn't care!

My river of love isn't a raging rapid! That would be like comparing a romantic cruise to going white water rafting.

[ He is speed typing again, with how fast the posts come. ]

Oh, that's deep! I like it. Everyone has the potential to dream and love in their own way!

Actually, I've never thought that hard about the words. But listening to it makes me feel so alive and in the moment. And dancing to it feels like completely embracing both the future and the present!

[ Tylor trails behind Yael at a leisurely pace. Because if he wants to run head first into a pack of enemies that are probably too high of a level for him, then he's not about to stop him from living his best life.

He doesn't even properly equip weapons he has to carry anymore, but once he's in range near Yael, he'll brandish smack a few to pull them off of their weakest link. ]

Like when you ride a dangerous wave. You probably shouldn't, but it's so fun! That wild rush! And you'd do it again and again, even when it hurts to fail. Crazy in love sounds like that. I see. I understand it a little now.

But how strange. All of that sounds like a solitary experience. Can you be crazy in love just by yourself?

Yeah, that's right! It's a little sad, but sometimes it's one sided and that can hurt a lot more.

But it's also lots of fun if you're both crazy in love together. Nothing else in the world matters besides being together!

( Mithrun dives ahead of the pack, up with Yael and Tylor - and in the true manner of a MMORPG player who knows friendly fire isn't a thing, he yanks out his massive claymore and sweeps it broadly across all the mobs to hit them all - probably clipping through Yael and Tylor, for an extra heart attack - utilizing his Koranshuu (hover), which he quickly combos into a Death Bringer with a sharp twist of his claymore into the Skyfish with the chunkiest HP, then a normal attack, then he starts the motion for another multi-hit Koranshuu once it's off CD—

which is like, cool and all, if DPS meters existed his would probably be pretty high, but he's hoarding all the aggro and he's taking So Many hits right now his HP is Not lookin hot. Based on the faint grimace of his expression, he sure feels every hit, but he just seems intent to mamba-combo his way through this, like a true DPS brain. He'll heal when they're all dead and there's no more aggro, so it's fine, )
