i get that the dough is bread based thats why it goes in the oven so the dough can rise but like... there's no top bread so it cant be a sandwich a pie though? not all pies have thick crusts on the top but there can sometimes be a thin layer of something and maybe decorations or toppings for the pizza and most pizzas have cheese as a layer above their sauce of choice! so its definitely more like a pie than a sandwich!!
