Hellooooo Fragment~
I am so sorry to announce that the news of my demise has been greatly exaggerated!
Not that I can blame anyone, of course! I was not, in fact, 100% certain that Lily would reach out and pluck me away at the very edge of death, and yet! As it would turn out, I was and continue to be correct!
Well, only about certain things. Just. Not everything.
Regardless, I have some news that I must bring to you straight from Lily's own core.
[ This message has been specifically brought to you via the forum because that way no one can even begin to guess how upset Fandaniel is, mmhm, perfect. ]

im
sure we're all still recovering from the battle with skeith so
but that means Harald Hoerwick is alive and him being dead in the other world was misinformation?
no subject
Not so. If he has fooled the real world outside of Fragment into believing he is dead, then I would think he is, in fact, dead.
Physically.
But digitally? Not so. We are already aware that one can exist in this world without a living body outside of it.
no subject
that's right. we're all data here...
depending on how old he was when he 'died'.
that would make a lot of sense.
[help he has no memories of the real world this hurts his brain]

If his goal was the same as mine once was, age wouldn't matter so much.
To create a perfect world for humans and abandon the painful world beyond, only it's never that simple. Then again, it could be he had other plans. If he did, however, I would not know. He seems to have kept that to himself.

Hunger, illness, housing...

I know how that feels. Watching humanity tear themselves and everything around them apart, refusing to do anything to help one another or improve our lives if it means making less money or giving up things you refuse to share, is incredibly depressing.

Before all of this, I would have agreed with them.
But now? You're right. It's incredibly difficult to make a change, any big change, but isn't it worth it to try?

I don't have context for anything anymore though when it comes to the supposed real world and fragment

I guess thinking of it like what happened to Uta would be easiest.
no subject
maybe it's just easier to think of it as there's two of us everywhere
anyway what else did cubia mention about harald hoerwick
no subject
To me? Not very much. He'd only call him his father, or the Progenitor. Fragment was as much of a child of Harold's as Cubia was. He said his father's remnants could still be here in Fragment somewhere, but that he didn't know where exactly.
I didn't understand it much at the time. I guess it was easier to think he was talking about a legacy, not something literal. But I was wrong about a lot of stuff.

harald hoerwick's room does exist here but no one can get into it
i wonder where the traces of him are then
and how are we meant to face him as the programmer? it was hard enough with skeith
no subject
The game was able to make its own city without CCCorp or Harald's involvement, right? There has to be something we can do to work around it.
no subject
hien was the one who informed calx about it

Maybe... we'll have to deal with Cubia first before we get any answers. If it really is just him behind Cubia, he really won't want us to find him anyway. Maybe that will change if we can find a way to make sure Cubia can't be used by him anymore.
[Like, y'know, murder.]

we get rid of cubia for good.
