Honestly? I don't even know why they have Zelkova here in the first place.

I don't know what capacity they actually expected him to act as an admin, and I don't know if he's really the voice of CC Corp in AI form or just another part of some big experiment dressed up as one of their operatives.

I know he's been dealing with bugs like those shielded monsters

but he seems more attached to fragment than cccorp so I think he's just their final iteration in an ai admin they don't have to pay or give breaks to

I tried to tell people some things that I've told you now, to try and explain things that were happening. But I couldn't make the words come out of my mouth. I couldn't write it down. I couldn't shake my head.

I promised him a long time ago I would keep things between us, because he didn't feel safe. I guessed he just didn't want me to break that promise just because I was scared.

I think both sides have forced secrets. Both Lily, and CC Corp - the official corporate communications, Hien, and Zelkova - are all functionally digital entities pursuing goals unclear to most of the players here.

I don't know if an AI know what's best what's humans. But I don't know if humans know what's best for humans, either. It's humans running CC Corp... presumably.

Do you think they might feel they have more to lose? If Fragment is shut down, or reformatted, then they go with it, presumably. They might think that the players have a fallback, unlike them - that, if allowed to log off, they could.

I wonder if Zelkova would accept that with a smile, though.

maybe they think they have more but I don't think it can be compared that way

we have different things to lose

and not everyone here is going to get to wait things out on indefinite life support until we can get out
